His Masterpiece Church began running services as a church on April 7, 2014, and was inaugurated on December 22, 2014, by Pastor Tunde Bakare, the Serving Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly. has evolved over the years from its inception as a vision given to its Serving Overseer and wife, Pastor ‘Rotimi and Pastor (Mrs.) Modupe Oyekunle as an undergraduate at the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos, Nigeria – “start an outreach to students at the lecture theatres, moving from one faculty to the other, every other day.”
